I love performing. It’s that simple. Three little words. No cleverness, no poetry, no makeup or props. I love performing. It’s as much a part of me as my love for my husband Jamie, my sweet dog Baxter, my family and friends. On stage and in front of the camera, I experience pure love for the act of acting. And when I’m drawing on my past experiences for a character – even the experiences that were terrible at the time – I find myself in love with those feelings of pain and sorrow because they brought me here to this place… to do this thing… in this moment. It’s at once the most liberating and the most terrifying thing to do, but it’s all that I want to do. It’s the thing that keeps me going… that sets me aflame. It’s the thing that makes me throw away everything that’s normal and safe and traditional and embrace something that’s so intensely and innately ME. I’m Sarah Anne Adams. I’m a performer, and I hope you’ll take the time to get to know about me.
